Summer is shaping up to be an exciting season, and we’re thrilled to announce several new adventures to get outside, build your skills, and explore some incredible landscapes together.
We’re almost done with the website now, but the main parts are up and ready to go! Holy smokes website’s take forever to get right! Sheesh!
As most of you know, we are adventurers and nature lovers to our core. During the summer, when it’s hot and dry, the little shroomies all but disappear in our area (Tuolumne County). But that doesn’t stop the party, it just starts a few new ones. As some of you know, we’ve been doing off road trainings and photography tours privately for years. We are now thrilled to announce our publicly available offerings. Yay!
3-Day Bristlecone Forest Photography Workshop: August 7-9th
Join us for an unforgettable three-day photography adventure to California's Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest. We'll photograph some of the oldest living trees on Earth, dramatic mountain landscapes, stunning sunrises and sunsets, and the incredible night sky. This workshop is designed for photographers of all experience levels who want to improve their skills while experiencing one of California's most remarkable natural landscapes.

Private Off-Road Training In Your Own Vehicle: Whenever you’re available!
Whether you're brand new to off-roading or looking to gain more experience, skill, and confidence behind the wheel, our private trainings provide personalized, hands-on instruction tailored to your experience level and vehicle. We cover essential driving techniques, trail etiquette, vehicle capabilities, recovery basics, and safe navigation while exploring spectacular scenic backcountry routes.

Smartphone Nature Photography Tours: Weekends in July & August
You don't need an expensive camera to create beautiful images. These relaxed weekend workshops are designed to help you get the most out of your smartphone while exploring some of the amazing natural areas throughout the region. You'll learn how to use light, composition, and simple editing techniques to create photos you'll be proud to share.

First Morel of the 2026 Season!
Happy April Everyone!
It’s been a long creative road, but we finally finished the new website backbone and were trucking along, starting to create the text for the individual pages.
But Mother Nature had other plans, and decided to throw us a curveball in the form of finding morels on a walk with Foxy (my little puppers) in the forest a week ago. Usually they show up a little later in the month, but this crazy cold, then hot and dry, then rain, then back to cold weather we’ve been having has thrown all that out the window. So we had to rush and get the homepage and the fungi foray pages ready to go so you could book your tours and start adventuring out in the woods! As soon as we have time to breath, we are gonna knock out the rest of the pages that currently say “Under Construction,” The other offerings we have, private off road training, and private custom photography tours are still available on a case by case basis, so if you’re interested just email us and we can work out the details.
The good news is that the spring mushroom tours that are centered around morels are starting on the 19th, which is quite a bit earlier than the tours last year. Can’t wait to see you!
